Parc de la Rivière-aux-Pins Disc Golf Course
Rivière-aux-Pins Disc Golf Course, also called Boucherville Disc Golf Course (French: Parcours de disque-golf du Parc de la Rivière-aux-Pins[1]) is a public 9-hole disc golf course located in the Rivière-aux-Pins public park in Boucherville, Quebec, Canada.[2] Established in 2013, it was the first disc golf course in the Montreal area to be fully publicly funded.[3][4] Players can rent discs at the Complexe aquatique Laurie-Eve-Cormier (formerly known as Centre sportif Pierre-Laporte) or purchase some at the Maison des Jeunes de Boucherville.[5][6][7]
History
According to Issac Olsen, the president of the Montreal Disc Golf Association, it took three years to build the Parc de la Rivière-aux-Pins disc golf course in partnership with the city of Boucherville. It was the 20th disc golf course in Quebec.[3]
