Park Jeong-eon

Park Jeong-eon also written as Park Jung-eun (Korean: 박정은; born July 1976) is a South Korean former long track speed skater, who was active between 1988 and 1997. Later, after her main career, she continued speed skating as a master between 2003 and 2005.[1]

Park Jeong-eon represented her nation at international competitions. She competed at the 1990 World Junior Speed Skating Championships. She participated at the 1990 Asian Winter Games in the 1500 metres event (finishing 12th) and 3000 metres event (finishing 8th). At the 1994 Asian Speed Skating Championships she competed in two events. At the 1997 Winter Universiade she won the bronze medal in the 5000 metres event. Park made her ISU Speed Skating World Cup debut in the A-division during the 1997-98 speed skating season on 30 November 1997 in Berlin, Germany, in the 3000 metres. A few weeks later she competed in two World Cup events in Hamar, Norway.[2]

At national championships she participated at the 1998 South Korean Single Distance Championships in the 1500 metres and 3000 metres, finishing fourth in both classifications.[2]
