"Parle à ta tête" (English: "Talk to Your Head") is a song recorded by French singer-songwriter Indila. Produced by Skalpovich, it was released by Capitol Music Group on 23 August 2019 and will be included in her upcoming album.[1][2][3][4] It peaked number 2 position in France chart until a week of 30 August 2019 and peaked number 95 in World Singles Official Top 100 as of 14 September 2019.[5]

Background

In an interview, Indila shared details on the preparation of her second album:

I decided to put the brakes on. It sometimes becomes necessary.  What matters to me is to release an album that looks like me and that is the most thoughtful. Since these revelations, Indila's opus has never seen the light of day. What if it was coming soon, very soon even?[6]

On 20 August 2019, three days prior to the song's release, she tweeted an apology for her four year long hiatus and hinted at her return with the new single, saying:[7]

"Parle à ta tête" was released on 23 August 2019 and will be included in her upcoming second album. This sublime aerial track announces a new album sincere and without detour which will place the individual at the center of the universe. [8]

Music video

The accompanying music video for the song was premiered on 14 November 2019 on her Vevo channel. The shorter length version was released on 18 December 2019, and extends three minute to eighteen second whereas the longer version is five minute to fifty-eight second.[9][10]
