Patrick Razak
Patrick Razak (born 17 June 1995 Somanya, Ghana) is a Ghanaian football player with the Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League as a right winger. He won the WAFU tournament in November 2017 for Ghana.[1]
Razak once played for Tamale Utretcht, and was at the center of a transfer saga with Guinean side Horoya.[2] He started his career with Young Rootz FC, a colt side, and then moved to Garviyietes FC in the 2nd division before leaving for Wa Bazooka F.C. division 1|,currently Somanya Bazuka FC division2. He was mentored by Jah B, a Jamaican but now a Ghanaian resident in Somanya. Jah B had countless sessions with Razak on the basics of goal scoring and being courageous when playing till now. Razak won the Goal King award at the juvenile inter-regionals competition for the Eastern Region in 2008–09, with nine goals to his account.
Razak later played for the Ghanaian Premier League side Wa All Stars before joining the Tamale Utretcht Academy, which he left for Tura Magic, a Namibian top flight side. He came back to the Tamale Utretcht academy before leaving for Accra Hearts of Oak for the 2015–16 season. Razak won the Ghana@60 cup with Accra Hearts in 2017 by scoring in the first leg at Accra Sports Stadium.[3] Razak left to Horoya A.C a top flight team in Guinea to continue his career but had short stint with Horoya due to a serious illness that almost cost his career. He's fully fit and back to playing active football with the help of his Godfather Jah B,former club Bazuka F.C and people from the Krobo land. Patrick Razak has returned to Accra Hearts of Oak his former club to relaunch his career and already making waves in league.
