Paul E. Marik
Paul E. Marik is a professor of medicine and serves as Chief, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is known for the vitamin C sepsis cocktail,[1] which is under active multicenter clinical trial.[2]
Marik is critical of the CMS SEP-1 and the Surviving Sepsis Campaign guidelines, especially those of fluid management.[3]
He has also released a treatment strategy for COVID-19, collecting best available information, also prophylaxis, providing recommendations on emerging science.[4]
