Paul Wyssling

Paul Raymond Wyssling (5 January 1912 Zürich, Switzerland – 30 October 1979[1]) was a Swiss international football referee.[2]

Career

He was member of FIFA in 1952-60 and refereed 15 international matches.[3] He officiated four matches in World Cup 1954 (2), 1958 (2), seven matches in World Cup 1958 qualifying UEFA zone that played between Czechoslovakia-Wales (2:0) and six matches in CONMEBOL zone (WC 1958). He also refereed four friendly matches.

In club football, he officiated some UEFA competition matches such as in Champions League (4) and UEFA Cup (2).[4] He refereed 1960 Swiss Cup final.

Personal life

He was the president of the Swiss Football Association between 1973 and 1979.[5]
