Paung Nyuan Naga

Paung Nyuan is one of the Naga languages spoken by several thousand of people living in the territory of Lahe Township, Naga self-administered region in Myanmar. Some of the alternative names of Paung Nyyan Naga are Makyam, Makyan, Pong Nyuan and Macham.[1]

Linguistically Paung Nyuan Naga is one of the SOV languages grouped under Tibeto-Burman. Paung Nyuan language is spoken in at least thirteen villages in Lahe Town.
