Peggy Ann Clifford
Peggy Ann Clifford (23 March 1921 in Poole, Dorset – 26 May 1986) was a plus size English film, stage and television character actress.[1][2][3] She was born Peggy Anne Hamley Champion. Her mother's maiden name was Clifford.
Her stage work, although less prolific, included early appearances in rep, in the West End, and in the original Royal Court production of John Arden's Live Like Pigs in 1958.[4][5][6]
