Renovation

By 2012, the building had fallen into disrepair and had become unsafe and unsanitary. Poor sanitation, lack of proper heating, and poor maintenance were rife.[1][2] The arena was subsequently purchased by George and Linda Bishop, who completely renovated and upgraded the rink to comply with local health codes. The locker rooms and restrooms were replaced, the building was insulated, electrical and plumbing systems were repaired, and emergency exits and lighting were updated to meet Brewer fire codes.[3]
