Perrottetia phuphamanensis

Perrottetia phuphamanensis is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Streptaxidae.

The specific name phuphamanensis is derived from the type locality Phu Pha Man National Park.[1]

Distribution of Perrottetia phuphamanensis includes two localities in Khon Kaen Province in northeastern Thailand.[1]

The type locality is Phu Pha Man National Park, Phu Pha Man District, Khon Kaen Province, Thailand, 16°45′34.0″N 101°57′50.3″E.[1]

Description

This species was described from Thailand in 2013 based on empty shells only.[1]

The shell has 6–6½ whorls. The width of the shell is 6.8–8.1 mm. The height of the shell is 4.6–5.6 mm.[1]

Ecology

As of 2013 no living specimens have been found.[1]

Species in the genus Perrottetia are carnivorous.[1]
