Philippa Gander

Philippa Helen Gander is a New Zealand academic, and as of 2019 is a full professor at the Massey University.[1]

Academic career

After a 1976 PhD titled 'A model for the circadian pacemaker of Hemideina thoracica derived from the effects of temperature on its activity rhythm' at the University of Auckland, Gander moved to the Massey University, rising to full professor.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

In 2005 Gander was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit.[7] In 2009 she was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand.[8]
