Picayune School District

The Picayune School District is a public school district based in Picayune, Mississippi (USA).

The district is located in southwestern Pearl River County and extends into a small portion of Hancock County.

The superintendent is Dean Shaw. The assistant superintendent is Brent Harrell.

The racial makeup of the district was 30.17% African American, 66.44% White, 2.63% Hispanic, 0.42% Asian, and 0.34% Native American.[1] 54.3% of the district's students were eligible to receive free lunch.[2]
