Pigeon pox

Pigeon pox is a disease to which pigeons are susceptible,[1] characterised by pox scabs which most frequently form on the featherless parts of the bird (face, mouth, and feet).[2] The disease is caused by Pigeonpox virus, a pox virus in the genus Avipoxvirus that is spread by mosquitoes and dirty water, but not in droppings.
