Pol Monen

Pol Montañés Enrich (Barcelona, 22 of July 1994[1]), better known as Pol Monen, is a Spanish actor who rose to fame for his role as Carlos in Amar[2], a film for which he was nominated for best actor at the Goya Awards.[3][4][5][6]

Career

Monen essentially studied Journalism[7], and started his career in 2005 in television[8].

In 2004, he made an uncredited appearance in La Mala Educación. He was also cast on the Telemundo and Netflix series La Reina del Sur (season 2).

He was mostly recognized for his leading role of Carlos in the 2017 romantic drama film Amar (loving), and was nominated for Best New Actor in the 2018 Goya Awards.

In 2019, he appeared in the film ¿A Quién te Llevarías a Una Isla Desierta?, and portrayed the role of Said in So My Grandma's a Lesbian! film.
