Polish Superliga (men's handball)

The Polish Superliga, also known as the PGNiG Superliga for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's handball league in Poland. The current champion is PGE Vive Kielce

Season

The season consists of 14 teams, each playing 26 regular season games. The eight best teams of the regular season advance to the quarterfinals. The remaining six teams play in the relegation round. The top four teams in this round avoid relegation while the fifth placed team plays in the relegation play-offs and the last team gets relegated. The two finalists qualify for the EHF Champions League while the third, fourth and fifth ranked teams in the play-offs qualify for the EHF Cup.
