Porullo

Porullo is a village in the state of Guanajuato, in Mexico. geographical coordinates: 20° 10' 8" North, 101° 5' 37" West. It is about 10 square miles (26 km²) in size. Located from the larger city of Yuriria.

Those who were born here have emigrated as young adults and live elsewhere (primarily Illinois, California, Florida, and Texas) often return in the month of December. The Christmas festivities and celebrations are mostly in late December. Weddings and Quinceañera parties are planned around this time of the year. Porullo is visited by men from most of the neighboring villages (including El Salteador, Zapotitos, and El Puerto).
