Prananiki Pranam

Prananiki Pranam is a 1990 Telugu-language action film, produced by D. Vijaya Saradhi under the Harish Enterprises banner, directed by Chalasani Rama Rao. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Rajani with music composed by Chakravarthy.[1]

Plot

The film begins with a jeopardy gang war of two netherworld kingpins Naga Dada (Satyanarayana) & Rasool (Mohan Babu). Raja (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is the most powerful weapon of Nagu Dada whom he dotes as his own. Meanwhile, Justice Jayanti Devi (Vanisri) newly arrives in the town and Nagu Dada gets shocked to know it. Once, Raja rescues her from danger during his deal when closeness develops between them which fears Nagu Dada. Raja falls for Lalitha (Rajani) niece of Jayanti Devi. But being aware that Raja is an acolyte of Nagu Dada Jayanti Devi rejects their match unless he comes out of his clutches for which Raja. Thereby, Nagu Dada promises that he will stop all his illegal activities for the sake of Raja. Thereafter, one of henchmen Bahadoor (Ananth Raj) joins in Rasool’s gang and talks low about Nagu Dada before Raja as enraged he seeks to kill him. The next day, he found died and Raja is accused. Suspecting Rasool, Raja attacks him but after understands, his virtue and they become best friends. On request of Jayanti Devi Raja surrenders, but she gives him to give death sentence but he absconds from prison. Here, as flabbergast, Naga Dada comes out with his devilish shade before Jayanti Devi and revealing Raja as her son he recollects her the past. 25 years ago, when Jayanti Devi was an advocate penalized Nagu Dadu’s son Giri (Maharshi Raghava) to death. Begruded Nagu Dada abducted her son Raja and today as a payback he made her sentence her own by indicting in crime. Listening to it, Rasool brings out the truth to Raja in which he dies while guarding him. At last, Raja ceases Nagu Dada and pleads pardon from his mother. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Raja & Lalitha.
