Producers with Computers

Producers with Computers were an Essex-based rap group formed in 2006. The group's most famous line-up was as a duo consisting of Alphabet (MC, producer) and Double S (MC). In their career they released 2 mixtapes and broke up before releasing their debut album to explore dubstep music under the name WhoAmI.

History

They gained fame on Myspace with demos such as Girlies, Dog Eat Dog, and Headphones Off, a diss track aimed at Hadouken!, as comparisons had been made between the two groups.

In 2008, they supported dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip on their UK tour.[1]

Their debut mixtape, Volume 1, was released in 2008.[2] One single was released from the album: "Girlies".[3]

Their second mixtape ABC was released in 2009.[4]

Breakup

In late 2009, Producers with Computers disbanded and continued as dubstep act 'WhoAmI'. They released a free online download of The Best of Producers with Computers, a compilation of favourite songs, as a parting gift.
