Professorial lecturer

Professorial Lecturer is an alternative term for part-time professors at certain prestigious universities such as the London School of Economics, the George Washington University, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, School of International Service at American University. The title of the professorial lecturer is used by institutions for professors who do not pursue teaching as their full-time profession but and have expertise in their respective fields. Currently at the London School of Economics, this title is being given to those working full time and of professor status, but no longer producing research, instead solely focussing on student education.[1]
