Quetta Fort
Zhob Fort (in natives known as The Castel) is a fortress and a military garrison built by the British for their strategic use. The fort is also known as Sandeman Fort.

The Castle or “The fort of Robert Sandeman” is situated in District Zhob, Baluchistan. Zhob Is 336 km from province capital Quetta. Prior to stationing of British troops in the area the name of the city was Appozai. Which was changed to Fort Sandeman by British administrator Robert Sandeman. After partition of the subcontinent it was named as Zhob on July 30, 1976 by the Prime Minister Zulfiqar ali Bhutto .
