Quintus Servilius Caepio (uncle of Brutus)
Quintus Servilius Caepio was the son of Quintus Servilius Caepio (likely from a marriage before Livia) and thus half-brother of Servilia Major, Servilia Minor and Gnaeus Servilius Caepio.[1] He adopted Marcus Junius Brutus, the son of his sister Servilia Major, due to this Brutus used the name Quintus Servilius Caepio Brutus at times.[2][3] He was also likely married to his second cousin Hortensia.[4]
