Rachid Medjiba

Rachid Medjiba (born 28 May 1948 in Algiers, Algeria) was an Algerian international football referee.[1]

Career

He refereed some international matches in 1990–1993. He refereed a match in 1992 African Cup of Nations, four matches in World Cup 1994 qualifying (CAF and AFC zones) and eight friendly matches, mostly Tunis national football team's matches.[2]

Personal life

After active refereeing career he was National Referee Coordinator of Algerian Football Federation (CFA) and President of Ligue de Football Professionnel of Algeria (LFA).[3][4][5] He was also Referee Coordinator of Mauritanian Football Association.[6] Madjiba has undertaken important tasks in Confederation of African Football.[7]
