Ray Arvizu

Ray Arvizu (born Reynaldo Arvizu) (1953 August 9, 2001), known professionally as Ray "Daddy" Arvizu, was a blues and jazz saxophonist who worked with Charlie Musselwhite and Elvin Bishop. He died on August 9, 2001, from a respiratory infection. Five years earlier a piece of celing at a nightclub fell on him, broke his back, and led to pulmonary hypertension.
