Rayamajhi

Rayamajhi (Nepali: रायमाझी) is a Rajput-Chhetri family name. Rayamajhis belong to Ekthariya[note 1] Chhetri subcaste that is widely accepted to be of patrilineal Rajput origin from present day India,[1] which is in contrast to Bahuthariya (multiple clan) Chhetri subcaste which is of patrilineal Khas origin.[1] Most of the people from this surname reside in Nepal .
