Raymond Tawiah

Raymond Tawiah is a Ghanaian politician and the Member of Parliament for Yilo Krobo constituency of the Eastern Region of Ghana.[1]

Early life and education

Tawiah was born on 1 March 1955 at Somanya his hometown in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He obtained an MBA (Post Graduate School of Management in Paris, France), a BSc in Administration at the University of Ghana, and an Executive Masters in Governance and Leadership at GIMPA.[1]

Career

He is an accountant by profession.[1]

Political life

Tawiah was elected on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and won a majority of 4,687 votes more than his opposing candidates in the race.[2] He won the constituency election to become the MP. He represented the constituency in both the 4th and 5th parliament of the 4th republic of Ghana. He later lost the chance to represent the constituency for a third time.

Personal life

Tawiah is a Christian and is married with four children.[1]
