Rebecca Keoghan

Rebecca Louise Keoghan MNZM is a New Zealand dairy farmer and company director.[1][2]

Biography

Keoghan completed a degree in medical science from the University of Otago, and also holds diplomas in advanced business management and leadership.[3] She has served on the boards of Tai Poutini Polytechnic, Buller Holdings and Westland Milk Products.[1][4][5]

Keoghan began her farming career in deer farming on her father's farm in Invercargill, then spent some time working in Australia before returning to New Zealand and shifting to dairy farming.[1]

Recognition

In 2016 Keoghan won Fonterra Dairy Woman of the Year.[6] In the 2017 Birthday Honours she received a New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business, and in 2018 she received the New Zealand Woman of Influence Award in the Rural category.[3]
