Reid, Western Australia

Reid is a former town in the Nullarbor in Western Australia. It was established in 1919, and located on the route of the Trans-Australian Railway. In the 1950s approximately a dozen families lived there, maintaining the railway. A school in the town educated the families' children. The settlement only existed until the 1970s, and by 2019 there were few remnants left of the former town.[1]
