Reuben Griffiths Bekoe

Reuben Griffiths Bekoe is a volunteer from Ghana who has made a difference by riding his locally manufactured bamboo bike from boomers across the country to raise funds for The Ghana Cleft Foundation in 2015.[1][2]

Early life and education

Reuben was born in Takoradi to Gustave Ayeh Bekoe and Margret Fosua Ayeh. He went to West Ridge Junior High School from 2000-2009 and later graduated from Shama Senior High School in Takoradi. He is currently doing his tertiary education at Takoradi Technical University[3]

Career

Reuben volunteered by riding his bike 2000 km across Ghana Starting from the Western Region, Central Region, Volta Region, Northern Region, Upper East, Upper West, Brong Ahafo, Ashanti Region, Eastern Region and Back to Greater Accra. Reuben's volunteering activities was brought into light with support from GhanaThink Foundation a social enterprise in Ghana who push his agenda by helping him have radio interview and meet ups with influencers in Ghana in other for them to help him raise funds for the Ghana Cleft Foundation.[4][5][6][7]
