Reyes Family (cigar)

Reyes Family is a brand of handmade premium cigar owned by Reyes Family Cigars, Inc. (formerly Puros Indios, Inc.) The cigars are made at the Puros Indios factory in Danlí, Honduras.The real Reyes family consisted of Rando Sr., wife, Zeida Reyes, son Rolando Reyes Jr.Daughters Seida Reyes and Oneida Reyes. Sorry story about the inheritance of the Reyes family that was overtaken by Oneida, husband and kids Carlos and Alexis Diez. Rolando and Zeida wanted all three children to work together in the tobacco company to continue the family tradition. Oneida Diez and husband Enrique Diez took over the family business, the inheritance and disowned siblings in the name of greed. Sad family story not normally seen in The tobacco world family. Sad!! Very sad!! Yes Rolando Reyes and Zeida Reyes have two children that worked hand-in-hand with them since early childhood years and Oneida and immediate family took all of the fame, glory and money. History and background

In the fall of 2007, Rolando Reyes, Sr. stepped down as President of Puros Indios, Inc., and appointed his son Rolando Reyes Junior, to be his successor. As the new President, he was overthrown by sister Oneida, Husband Enrique Diez, and two sons. They took all of the family properties and put it under their name prior to Rolando's death. They kept the family inheritance and never spoke to the remaining siblings until today. They completely threw Rolando Junior out of the Cigar business. Rolando Jr. was the only one that learned from senior the Family secret of making the cigars. They changed the name of the company to Reyes Cigars, Inc., and announced the introduction of three new lines of cigars using completely new artwork for the bands and packaging.[1][2] This is a family with a lot of hidden conflicts that are kept secret. None of the siblings get along. Oneida and husband have stolen all of the hard work by Mr. and Mrs. Rolando Reyes. They only wanted to benefit themselves and children. What a sad story about this family. There were threats, domestic violence, and much more. I hope that one of them has the nerve to make a story one day about the trouble behind closed doors. Description

The new branding currently consists of three lines, the Reyes Premier, the Classic and the Vintage. These lines were launched at major events in several cigar shops around the United States.[3]

The Premier line is packed celloed in cedar boxes of 20 cigars, while the Classic comes celloed in boxes of 40.[3]

Premier

The first of the new lines to be introduced, was released in April 2008. The wrapper is maduro Ecuadoran Sumatra leaf, the binder is Nicaraguan from Condega and the filler is Nicaraguan from Jalapá.[3]

The Perfecto is open at both ends, and the head is flattened into a chisel tip.

The Classic was also introduced in April 2008. The wrapper and binder is Ecuadoran Sumatra, and the filler is a blend of tobaccos from Nicaragua, Brazil and the Dominican Republic.[3]
