Rhasidat Adeleke

Rhasidat Adeleke (born 29 August 2002) is an Irish sprinter.[1] She won a silver medal in the 4 x 100m relay with Molly Scott, Gina Akpe-Moses, Ciara Neville and Patience Jumbo-Gala at the 2018 IAAF World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland[2][3] and a gold in the 200m at the 2018 European Athletics U18 Championships in Győr, Hungary.[1][4]

Background

Adeleke was born in Dublin in 2002 to Nigerian parents Ade and Prince Adeleke. [3] She won a junior sprint double at the Irish Schools championships for Presentation College, Terenure.[3][5] She is a member of Tallaght Athletic Club.[5][3]
