Rhizophagus (fungus)

Rhizophagus is a genus of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi that form symbiotic relationships (mycorrhizas) with plant roots. The genome of Rhizophagus irregularis (formerly Glomus intraradices) was recently sequenced.[3][4]
