Richard West (1636-1674)
Richard West (1636-1674) was an English politician in the second half of the 17th century.[1]
West was born in Haslemere, and served as MP for the town with his brother-in-law John Westbrooke during the Convention Parliament of 1660. He was appointed Commissioner for Surrey in 1660. He died on 27 February 1674, aged 38,[2] and was buried at St Bartholomew, Haslemere.[3]
