Ruhul Quddus Talukdar

Ruhul Quddus Talukder "Dulu" (born 7 September 1962) is a Bangladeshi lawyer and Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician who was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Natore-2 from 1996 to 2006.[1][2] He served as Deputy Minister for Land. During the BNP-Jammat-E-Islami government. He was always active as a leader of BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) effectively from 2006 to 2018. He played a vital role in combined minor issues going on BNP politics in different districts of Bangladesh.The High Court cleared the way for this BNP leader Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu to contest in the election 2018. It directed the Election Commission to accept his nominations and stayed the previous rejection order of the returning officers.[3]

In 2012, he, along with Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Hannan Shah and Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir were jailed for political riots. They were later released.[4]
