Ruwais Refinery

The Ruwais Refinery, located in Al Ruwais (Abu Dhabi), and owned by Takreer, the refining arm of ADNOC, is the largest oil refinery in the UAE with a capacity of 400,000 bpd. This is more than twice the size of ADNOC's other Jebel Ali refinery. The Ruwais refinery was initially commissioned in 1981, with a capacity of 120,000 bpd then expanded.[1]
