History
In the summer of 2005, CS Deva sold its Divizia B place to Corvinul 2005 Hunedoara,[1] a new club that it was setup to be the spiritual continuation of the dissolved senior side FC Corvinul Hunedoara but with no legal relations with the old club. It folded in 2008[2] and FC Hunedoara took over the footballing traditions in the city.
