He has an impressive record at Pegah Gilan in the 2006–07 season, conceding only 2 goals in 19 appearances. He would often wear his Macedonia national team jersey during league matches.

After retiring as a player, Ilić was an assistant coach in Steel Azin F.C..

International career

He made his senior debut for Macedonia in a June 1997 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Iceland and has earned a total of 5 caps, scoring no goals. Ilić's fifth and final cap came in a 0–1 defeat against Paraguay on 13 November 2005.[2]
