Sabrina Javaid

Sabrina Javaid is a Pakistani Politician since last 25 years who has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab since 15 August 2018.She belongs to Jhelum and is representing Jhelum District as Member of Punjab Assembly.

She has been an active Member of Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) since 18 years and played a pivotal role in representing Women of Jhelum District as President of Women Wing of Jhelum District in 2008 Intra Party elections of PTI.

She is highly educated and a learned Lady and played positive role in ensuring that public Voted for PTI in Jhelum District,as tasked by President of PTI Punjab. Is well known in her District and her aim is to play a positive role for well being of Public at large without vested interests as per Vision of Chairman PTI.

Presently she is Member Planning & Development Standing Committee, Member Higher Education Department Standing Committee , On Board of Directors Pakistan Education Foundation, Ministry of Education Punjab, On Board of Chairman HITEC University Taxila in Punjab besides being Member of Environmental & Protection Standing Committee of Punjab.

She is wife of Major ( Rtd) Javaid IK Kayani ,daughter of Late Colonel Aziz Shiekh and eldest Daughter in law of Late Colonel Muhammad Inayat Khan Kayani of Pindgolandazan, Tehsil Sohawa, District Jhelum. Has 3 sons, all independently settled and are professionals in their own fields, while one is on active service as an army officer in Pakistan Army.

Political career

She was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on a reserved seat for women in 2018 Pakistani general election.[1]
