Sagar (actor)

Touted as the Powerstar of television industry in Telugu, Sagar fondly called as RK Naidu by his character's name is a Telugu actor from Telangana. He earned huge following in family audience and became a common household name for years due to his long career in Television. He is best known for his television serials as Jagan in Chakravakam (2006) and RK Naidu and Munna in Mogali Rekulu (2008-2013) which won him several awards including the most prestigious Nandi award for his best acting.[2][3]

Personal information

Sagar was born in Godavarikhani, Telangana on 16 August 1983. He is the only child to his parents. He finished schooling in Chinmaya Vidyalayas and graduated in Computers from AV College, Hyderabad. He is a master's degree holder in M.Sc computer science from AV College. Sagar married his long time girl friend Soundarya in 2017. He has a son.

Career

He has done successful serials like Chakravakam (TV serial)and Mogali Rekulu. He has rejected movie offers from popular production houses siting time issues majorly due to his commitments on TV.

Movies

Producer Dil raju of Sri Venkatewara creations had cast Sagar in his latest family entertainer Shaadi Mubarak which is due for release. His next venture will be in the production of film maker B. V. S. Ravi
