History

It was established in 1970 by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bhagalpur,[1] under the aegis of the Franciscan Friars (Third Order Regular of St. Francis).</ref> Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of the school. The school is noted for high academic achievements in the region and has well-placed and eminent alumni working in the field of science, technology, business and entertainment,[2] and public services. The school produced two consecutive Jharkhand state toppers in the ICSE Annual Exams in 2016 and 2017.[3] Students perform very well in national competitive examinations : IIT-JEE,[4] medical entrance exams and civil services.

Campus

The school has two campuses, aprimary wing and a senior wing, separated by a short walking distance. The primary wing has students from nursery to class 5. The senior wing is for students from classes 6 to 12. It is located in the heart of the city in the locality of Castairs Town.

The school is equipped with a basketball court, games field, computer laboratory, a volleyball court, exhibition hall and science laboratories.

The school also holds various events every year, including Sports Day, Parents' Day and exhibitions.
