History

The school opened in September 1959 and got an extension in 1970. The school has been renamed to "Saint Mary's Co-Ed Primary School" because it now accepts boys and girls so it is no longer a Christian Brothers School. The school had its 50-year jubilee in 2009.[2] The school is located beside Coláiste Mhuire, the oldest post-primary school in Mullingar.
