Sanib Puwersa

Sanib Puwersa (transl.Join Forces) is a 2011 Philippine television documentary and public service show broadcast by GMA Network. Hosted by Mel Tiangco and Arnold Clavio, it premiered on October 23, 2011 replacing Kuwentong Dabarkads. The show concluded on November 13, 2011. It was replaced by Oras Na in its timeslot.

Premise

The show features actual footages of rescue operations of emergency response teams, on-site accidents, and numerous other life-threatening situations. Tiangco visits the victims/casualties and provides assistance to help them recover from their nightmarish experiences. While Clavio goes on location to investigate and to seek solutions for the featured problems.[1]

Toilet Humor[5] This November 19, the whole world will celebrate World Toilet Day. It aims to bring attention to more than 2.6 billion people worldwide who are suffering from the lack of clean and functioning lavatories.

In the Philippines, the problem is prevalent in poverty-stricken areas such as Malabon, where a public school has more than four thousand students sharing one comfort room! Another community in Navotas use makeshift toilets to relieve themselves. And in a far-flung area in Misamis Oriental, locals consider it a luxury to have toilets in their area. In this episode, Mel Tiangco and Arnold Clavio join forces with other sectors of our society as they try to respond to the stinking state of some of the public toilets in our country.
