Sarmentose is a monosaccharide with the molecular formula C₇H₁₄O₄ obtained from sarmentocymarin by hydrolysis.[1] It is stereoisomeric with cymarose, and closely related to digitalose, which is obtained from digitalin by hydrolysis.
