Scott Halberstadt

Scott Halberstadt (born August 17, 1976) is an American data analyst and former actor. He is best known for playing Eric in the Nickelodeon live-action sitcom Drake & Josh.

Early Life and Career

Halberstadt was born in Connersville, Indiana to Fred Halberstadt (1939-2010), a music teacher[1] and Gayle Halberstadt (nee Mikesell). He graduated from Connersville High School and attended Ball State University.

Film

Halberstadt appeared in the film Grandma's Boy as a tester who challenges Jeff (Nick Swardson) to Dance Dance Revolution. He was the pimply casino employee in Smokin' Aces. He is typically typecast into a nerdy role.

Television

Halberstadt had a recurring role as Eric on the Nickelodeon series Drake & Josh. His other television credits include The Guardian, Half & Half, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and a few other shows. He made a cameo appearance in iCarly's "iStart a Fan War", playing Eric (from the Drake & Josh series), alongside Craig (Alec Medlock) and Gavin (Jake Farrow), who also made cameos.

Advertising

He can also be seen in commercials for Alltel Wireless representing the rival AT&T/Cingular Wireless company as well as seen in commercial spots for Capital One credit cards. He even said the catchphrase, "What's in your wallet?" in one of the ads. Halberstadt also very briefly starred in an advert for Fry's Electronics.

Personal life

Halberstadt is married and has one son born in 2011. He currently lives in Chicago and is currently a Presales Solutions Architect at DI Squared.[2]
