Secondary Evangelical School-Zahle

Secondary Evangelical School-Zahle (SES) (Arabic:الثانوية الإنجيلية زحلة), located in Zahle, Lebanon is a non-profit secondary school and one of the many schools under the patronage of the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon. Its students come from all over Lebanon, as well as the Middle-East and around the world. With one campus in the capital of the Beqaa Governorate, the school educates over 3,500 students each year regardless of their color/ethnicity/religious views.

Association of Evangelical Schools in Lebanon

History

One of the oldest schools in Lebanon, The Secondary Evangelical School of Zahle was established in 1863 as a missionary institution with great efforts of the Hawly family. It is one of the first registered schools with the Lebanese Ministry of Education as a K-12 private school.

Campus

Secondary Evangelical School of Zahle has its only campus on the hills of Zahle in the Midan region. The campus consists of five buildings which house the Early Years and Elementary (both English and French sections), Middle School, and High school classes respectively.

The campus also consists of four playgrounds a basketball and mini-football court. Facilities include an auditorium, a science lab, a library, and two computer rooms. A guidance counselor, nurse and psychologist are available everyday on-campus.
