Shailesh Rao

Shailesh Rao is the Vice President International Operation of Twitter. Prior to this he was the Managing Director of Google India, at Gurgaon, near Delhi.[1][2] Prior to this, he was a Director of local search for Google at its Mountain View headquarters [3] and Vice-President of Products at Yodlee before that.

Early life and education

Rao was born to Nagaraj and Rama on 25 November 1970 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[4] He obtained a BA from the University of Pennsylvania with Honors, a BS from the Wharton School with a concentration in finance, and an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management in 1999.

Career

Rao joined Google in 2005.[5] Prior to enrolling at Wharton, he worked for a firm named Strategic Planning Associates for four years.[4]
