Shamoon Ismail
Shamoon Ismail (Punjabi: شمعون اسمعیل) is an Islamabad-based singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist known for his signature blend of "Punjabi and blues".[1][2]

Early life
Shamoon Ismail born and raised in Islamabad, Pakistan to Pakistani parents. Spent most of his life in Pakistan. learning musical instruments such as guitars and had keen interest in playing since childhood.[3]
Career
Shamoon ismail started releasing music on bandcamp and soundcloud earlier his career with his friends help. and managed to gain some attraction from kind of music he was making. Usually performing live on local universities and regional perfoemances including popular music festivals like Music Mela and Lahore Music Meet.[4] Released his first music video "TunTuna" on YouTube which gained attention from not only local Pakistani audience but also fans from across border India. Collaborated with artists such as MRKLE, Talal Qureshi, Abdullah Qureshi, Haider Mustehsan, Mooroo, Ghauri, Young Stunners, Asim Azhar, Raamis.
Controversy
In late 2018, Pakistani singer Bilal Khan was accused of plagiarizing Shamoon Ismail's "Taare".[5]

Shamoon Ismail was nominated Singer of the Year in Lux Style Awards- 2019.
