Shapeshifter (The Contortionist EP)
Shapeshifter is the debut extended play by progressive metal band The Contortionist. This EP as well as Sporadic Movements are their only recordings to have a more traditional deathcore sound, before switching to technical death metal and progressive metal in their later work. This is the only album by The Contortionist to feature vocalist Jake Morris who was later replaced by Dave Hoffman. The interlude in Non-Manual Dexterity was later re-worked into Eyes: Closed, itself entirely reworked into Flourish.
