Helicopter delays

As a result of the helipad for Georgetown MedStar Hospital being located directly behind the west-end goal, and for safety reasons, the game must be delayed whenever a medical helicopter is arriving.[2]

History

In the summer of 2012, Shaw Field underwent major renovations. The improvements included a new scoreboard, a new grandstand, as well as other aspects of the stadium.[1] In March 2015, the Argentina national team trained at Shaw Field in preparation for a friendly match at nearby FedExField.[3]
