"She's American" is a song by English rock band The 1975. It was released on 11 November 2016 as the sixth single off of their second album, I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It.

Music video

A music video for the song had been recorded, with leaked GIFs and videos showing Matty Healy dancing in front of an American flag with various dancers around him holding AR-15 style rifles. The video was originally planned to be released in Fall 2016, but was ultimately cancelled.[1]

Two years later, rumors surfaced that the band was going to finally release the music video with the song,[2] although as of 2020, no music video associated with the song has been released.[3]
