Sheikh Ali Jaber

Ali Saleh Mohammed Ali Jaber ( Arabic : علي صالح محمد علي جابر ) or better known as Sheikh Ali Jaber (born in Medina , February 3, 1976 - died in Jakarta , January 14, 2021 at the age of 44 years) was a preacher and scholar with nationality Indonesia.[1] He has also been a judge on Hafiz Indonesia and has been a Da'i in various studies on various national television stations.

Personal life

Ali Jaber has been reading the Qur'an since childhood. It was his father who initially motivated Ali Jaber to study the Qur'an. In educating religion, especially the Qur'an and prayers, his father was very firm, not even hesitant to hit when little Ali Jaber did not perform prayers . His family was known as a religious family. In Medina he has a large mosque used for Islamic teachings. As the first child of twelve brothers, Ali Jaber was demanded to continue his father's struggle in Islamic teachings.

Although at first what she was going through was her father's wish, gradually she realized it was her own need and by the age of eleven, she had memorized 30 Juz' of the Qur'an.

Case

Stabbing

On September 13, 2020, Syekh Ali Jaber was stabbed by an unknown person while lecturing at the Falahuddin Mosque, Sukajawa, Bandar Lampung . As a result, he suffered a stab wound to the right arm.[2] The suspect, who was born on April 1, 1996, Alfin Andrian, was successfully secured.[3]

Died

Syekh Ali Jaber passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 08.30 WIB in a negative state of COVID-19 at YARSI Hospital, Cempaka Putih, Jakarta.[4] Previously, Ali Jaber had tested positive for COVID-19, but had recovered when he was declared dead.[5]
